CPS Lite is a single-entry financial accounting software compliant with the requirements of DPR 97/2003, specifically designed for managing simplified financial statements. It has been expressly developed for small public administrations, where ease of use and immediate operability are essential factors. Despite being very easy to use, CPS Lite includes many of the advanced features of the CPS software family, which are distinctive of GESINF products. More generally, CPS Lite incorporates all the improvements that, based on GESINF's experience in public administration automation, help save time and reduce the risk of errors.
CPS Lite is developed using Borland Delphi, a modern object-oriented development system for 32-bit MS Windows applications. Client requirements are those typical of MS Windows 98/2000/XP environments, while network installations are fully compatible with the MS Windows 200x Server standard or later versions. Thanks to the characteristics of its operating environment, the program takes full advantage of the advanced MS Windows user interface and integrates directly with widely used Office Automation packages (MS Excel, MS Word). The software is supplied with comprehensive and easy-to-use online Help documentation, as well as an automatic update feature via the Internet.

CPS Lite is often used by organizations that are not directly subject to DPR 97/2003, but instead follow the financial accounting principles originally established by DPR 696/79. For this reason, the software is available in two versions, supporting both regulatory frameworks. The documentation provided refers to the DPR 696/79 version.

CPS Lite is the ideal solution for small and medium-sized public administrations with a limited number of administrative users. Its main strengths are its simplicity and ease of use, making it the only public accounting software on the market that can be effectively used the day after installation through self-training.
